A Gwinnett County grand jury indicted alleged Sugarloaf "Mansion Madam" Lisa Taylor on six new charges Wednesday in connection with her drug arrest in late September.

Taylor was supposed to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning on the drug charges that were filed late last month. Instead, District Attorney Danny Porter took her case before a grand jury.

The grand jury, in turn, indicted Taylor on five new felony charges and one new misdemeanor charge that include the sale and possession of cocaine, the sale of possession of the prescription drug Xanax, and possession of some other prescription drugs.

Taylor's attorney had hoped to get a judge to allow his client out of jail on bond, where she has been held since a police officer pulled over a car in which she was a passenger and arrested her. At the time, Taylor was out of bond on probation pending her trial on prostitution charges.

Taylor and co-defendant Nicole Probert were indicted for allegedly running a high-priced prostitution ring out of Taylor's Sugarloaf home.
